The Silverman lab has received a pilot grant on the rare genetic disorder, CASK. CASK is an X-linked disorder leading to microcephaly with pontine and cerebellar hypoplasia (MICPCH) and CASK-related intellectual disability. The award is from a private Australian Foundation with a little girl named Angelina who was diagnosed with CASK.
